I waterlogged my cactus will it live?
"WATERING: During the active growth season cacti need to be watered

more often than during the dormant season. There is no set

watering specifications for cacti, as it depends on the pot,

the soil, the climate and several other factors. The best

way to learn how much water your cactus needs and how often

is to observe it. When watering the cactus, add water until

there is only about a half inch of dry soil on the surface.

Be sure that the drainage holes in the pot are not blocked

so the water can run out. Do not water the cactus again

until the soil is completely dry. The easiest way to check

the soil moisture is to carefully stick a pencil or a

similar object to the bottom of the soil and check for any

damp soil clinging to it.

During the dormant season, the plant should be watered no

more than every few weeks. "

Do you have a pot with holes in the bottom because some of the water should drain to keep it from being overwatered or you could repot the cactus if you're worried that you did over water it. . .Read up on this website . . It gives tips on how to care for them! Good luck! I hope your cactus is really thirsty and not waterlogged! :)
Reply:Let it really dry out and hope for the best. Talk to it and see if you are lucky. I'm cheering for you!
Reply:don't water it for awhile and put it someplace sunny to help it dry out the soil. Cacti usually don't require much water. It may be too late to save it, but try and dry the soil out. They only need to be watered about once a month usually.
