Why is a christmas cactus a plantae?
The term Plantae is the Latin name for the plant kingdom. Sometimes referred to as Kingdom Plantae. Since Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera truncata) is a plant, it would belong in this kingdom. Hope this helps.
