Please help...an unexpected frost hit my Christmas Cactus. Can I save it?

Just bring it inside where it's warm. It does get cold in the desert all the time.

Are you sure that it is frost? Mine stays in the cold and the frost does not bother it..what does bother it is too much water..it suggests that you just mist it when you do water it, not flood/soak it to death..as most any cacti or succulent..they need dry feet
Reply:Cut off the soggy bits. Place the plant under a bush/tree or something to protect it from frost. May be even indoor in a bright position for a short time. Take it out again when the weather warms up.
Reply:Yes, it can be saved...but have patience....bring it in, an allow it to dry back (the dead parts that were hit by frost), and cut them back..place your plant in an area where your plant will get partial light not direct sunlight. And please don't over water...its a cactus(suculent)...let it dry out..then water..and don't feed suculent's in the winter either...begin to feed your plant/s a month before spring..

Hope your plant makes it...

I have a Christmas Cactus my dh gave me for Christimas 6 yrs ago..its lovely when it was in full bloom this year!!
