My Christmas Cactus used to have 20+ blooms--this year, 1! What gives?
If it was left in a room with a light on all the time, the plant never had a chance to bud. They generally need 12hrs. of darkness over a few week period in order to set buds. You may try leaving it outside next fall (if your weather turns cold but no frost) for a while as the chilly nights can *shock* the plant into setting buds. I live in New England and this is what I do.
