Is this a zygo-type cactus?

You must mimic the natural season cycles. In the fall it should get progressively shorter days and its night time period should not be interrupted by artificial light. Temperatures should be reduced but be above freezing and water should be given only to keep it from shriveling until buds appear.

Reply:keep it in the dark for a couple of hours then shine a red lensed flashlight on it for a minute. voila!!
